So this place, it's lovely. It's called Red Brick Mill and it's sort of a housey, gardeny type shop/department store/mill over three floors with furnishing and beddings and all things cool to look at. The best thing is because it's an old converted mill it's actually a treat to walk round.
When we get our hair cut we normally go there afterwards for breakfast and a long browse around the gorgeous interiors after a spell in the wonderful cafe on the third floor. It's very rustic and chilled out.
They have books to read whilst you enjoy your coffee, little cards with cool designs and Cath Kidston fabrics to make cushion covers with, all at one side of the cafe. I'd have my actual kitchen looking like that if I could.
Yesterday we went and got eggy crumpets which was a foreign concept to me but worked really well, sort of like eggy bread which we used to have as kids.
Anyway, we've seen this clock before but I haven't been able to capture it because I've never had my phone on me. It's like a modern grandfather clock. I was commenting to M that I'd like to show it to mum because I think she'd like it in her house. So here it is (picture quality is poor because it's my phone):-

You could imagine it in a Tim Burton film, in Jack Skellington's house.
I'm sure you'll all agree it's price is an absolute snip....for.....:-

Eeek. That's all I could say!
And finally:-

You might think this is an ordinary bush in an ordinary garden, but no. It is not. This is Poppy's bush. She favours this bush over the warmth and comfort of the sofa. In stormy weathers she hides underneath it. Normally, if she's outside, she's under this bush. Not any other bushes in the garden, just this one.
Naturally I have now created a secret world which she enters each time she trots over to it, much like James and the Giant Peach. She has insect friends and birds and all sorts. I think it's odd that she likes to sit under a damp bush all the time, but of course, that's what she wants me to think, to stop me asking questions about her underground lair!
I know I am yet to do the 2nd part to my March/April update but I have been working really hard at work and super tired this weekend. I suspect I will be working overtime next week so I will fit it in when I can. It is actually worth waiting for, we've done loads in the last couple of months!
Here's hoping you all have clean pyjamas on tonight boys and girls...
