To say I have been excited about this event is pretty much an understatement.
My grandma had a sodastream when we were younger - my grandma always had all the latest gadgets. In fact she's probably still got it in her kitchen behind an ice-cream maker or two.
We used to love going round there to try the latest syrups, or just to simpy fizz up some water. I have never lost the facination of actually putting fizz into something. I mean, that's amazingly awesome isn't it? Just me? Oh.
I received two lots of syrup in my box - ginger ale and lemonade. The whole system is sooooo easy, even my grandma (who is now 90) could use it.
You just get the now incredibly tactile plastic bottle, fill with water, screw onto the gas tap, push button at top to get a few jets of gas in and hey presto!
I added lemonade and put the bottle in the fridge over night. The drink stays really fizzy and it was really tasty ice cold.
The delicious flavours (I'll be buying some sugar-free ones next because I don't want my teeth to fall out).
I cropped this picture to give you an idea of how compact it actually is.
An action shot! Look at all that fizzy goodness!
It really isn't rocket science. I'd buy one if I was you.

I am tempted! But I don't drink fizzy!
I try not to drink a lot of fizzy stuff - but I'm thinking the posibility of fizzy cakes and fizzy jelly and other such food related items are endless!
