If you're one of us, then roll with us

So today we've mostly been chilling out and doing stuff completely un-valentines day related.  Well, we did spend the day together (and we are spending the week together off work) if that's classed as romantic? - probably, I'll check with Hallmark.

Apart from that M bought me the lovely Rob Ryan book which was a nice surprise.  We didn't exchange cards or owt and we certainly didn't get any fancy-smancy food.

We were going a bit stir crazy earlier so we went for a little wander around the lovely Red Brick Mill.

It's a perfect place to hang out if it's slightly rainy outside.

We had some lovely lunch.  I had a salmon niçoise salad and M had a meatball panini.

Then I proceeded to lust after all the acemazing stuff they have in there.  My favourite items:-

This wicked-ace sweeney todd razor mirror.
I've longed to own this for a while but sadly the sale
only reduced it to just over 200 smackers and that's
still a little out of my price range!

I adore this light. It's made from thousands
of strands of fabric.  I think it would look cool
in a grand hall or huge dining room.

Time for a close up.
I suspect it would be a pig for gathering dust though.

These are cool aren't they? I used to love snap models.
Great idea for a kids party. Or an adult party I was hosting.

My babushka-homing device picked these straight away.
So damn cute. And practical lets not forget - everyone
needs tooth picks. And salt. And pepper.

Finally a new 'Heals Rules' crockery collection.
I don't normally go for these 'things written on plate' type items.
But I love these. Especially the tea-pot which says
'Nearest the pot: do the honours'

Tonight I have been painting my nails with this luscious 'Leciester Square' nails inc number.

Tomorrow we're off to Portmeirion for a few days rest and recoup - huzzah!  I had to book the trip a year ago to make sure we secured our favourite spot, the Watch House.  It's turned into a bit of an annual thing for us after M took me there on my birthday the first year we were together.

Play nice while I'm gone children!

Aww Pixie, thank you so much for your lovely comment. It made me smile so much. It's both Zachary AND Chris that I like - hubba hubba! Also, is your brother single? Hahaha!

Gosh, I think I want all of those things in your post but especially the plate. So fun!

Have a lovely time away!

@Raffles - exactly, wow - I'm like that every time I go there!

@Alex I love your blog, it's one of my staples. Can't imagine how sad and pathetic that crazy anon commenter is ;) my brother is a bit of an unknown quantity, and now he's currently residing in Aus so a bit far away!
